Brandon's Story
My son Brandon, when he was 6 months old, got sick with a very high fever, I gave him medicine but nothing brought him down. We took him to the hospital and injected him with a vaccine that would lighten the fever, but it would still be the same the next day. We returned to take him to the same hospital and he was admitted to the hospital, they gave him medicine and nothing fever followed, the drought days passed, they put him into the machines for scandal and they did not find that he had blood and nothing was not found when they brandon nothing else. they were pure bones of which he already had 9 days with a diarrhea fever, he was bleeding from his mouth because he also had pimples coming out of his mouth when the doctors sent him by ambulance to the children's hospital in Nashville because his heart no longer resisted Because of the fever itself, I remember that.
We went to Nashville in the evening and when they arrived at the hospital they put serum in it and they started to get doctors, they did blood tests and at 36 minutes the doctor came and the lady told me we already know that her son Brandon has a disease called Kawasaki disease and I had never heard that disease but brandon had that disease, they gave him the medicine for that disease and at 20 minutes Brandon no longer had a fever, but as he had a very high fever for a long time the Now he is heart sick. And he has to go with the cardiologist very often but thanks to God we are moving forward with him.
Misdiagnosis?
Brandon was getting his 6 months old vaccine and at the time he was but running a fever but that Night he was running a fever and the next morning we took him to the hospital where the doctors told us he had the flu so the doctors gave him shots and thats is the treatment. When he was 1 and a half doctors diagnosed hum with Sotos Syndrome.
Current Conditions
Today Brandon is 10 years old and he cannot speak fluently and he cannot write and he has speach therapy and Occupational Therapy he is a really big guy and he see's cordiologist, Neurologist, and a Genetic each year.
