Corbin's Story
Corbin was diagnosed a year ago after first being diagnosed with Scarlet Fever. He was only 20 months old. Once he was diagnosed, we were admitted to Methodist Children's in San Antonio where he received two rounds of IVIG and spent 5 days in the hospital. Being in the hospital with a little toddler was a challenge. We pushed through and he is aneurism and symptom free.
Misdiagnosis?
He was initially diagnosed with Scarlet Fever. I knew within a day or two that he wasn't improving and went back to the doctor. She agreed and diagnosed him with Kawasakis and admitted him to the hospital. She is amazing!
Current Conditions
Today, he is perfect. No heart problems and is a healthy, happy 2 year old.
